Design is more than a job. It’s about friendships, conversations, debates, collaborations, events, and experiences. Today I turn 50, and I reflect on 50 memories that highlight this.

 
Science Museum

1993 – 1996
Meeting the love of my life. Creating Designs for a Deaf Audience at Liverpool School of Art.

1996 – 1998
Opening an envelope in front of my Mum and Dad offered me a place at the Royal College of Art to study Graphic Design.

Commissions include visualising genetic makeup for the Science Museum, artworks and furniture for Imperial College; data visualisation for Fortune, Wired, New Scientist and Deutsche Bank; branding for the BBC, ITV, Marque, Nike Foundation, Legal & General, Penguin Books, Channel 4; and collaborations with Louis Franck, Simon Fisher Turner, Moby and Andrew Kötting.
